Paneling in rear parlour
Location: Mayfair, London
Type: Office / Heritage
Cost: £2 million
This Grade II* Listed London town house was designed by pioneering Scottish architect, Colen Campbell in 1726, which he occupied until his death in 1729. The building retains many original features, including the paneling and chimney piece in the rear parlour, and is one of the last remaining traditional townhouses in Mayfair with it’s historical interior intact.
Working in collaboration with Westminster City Council Conservation Officers andEnglish Heritage, we created a 21st century office accommodation, while preserving and restoring the architectural features of this significant piece of Mayfair’s architectural history.
